John McGinnis is the author of 'The Blue Church Or: The Only Home a Ghost Ever Had'. He is of mixed Japanese and Irish heritage and has lived in both the United States and the United Kingdom. A software engineer by day, and author by night; John believes the greatest inventions of mankind are: the printing press, the bicycle, progressive rock, the Commodore 64, and the phrase 'Can you dig on that a while?'. He lives in Arizona with his wife, two kids, two dogs, and a revolving foster dog. In addition to writing fiction, John also authored 'Start Here: The Fundaments of Commodore 64 Programming in BASIC and 6502 Assembly Language: For real or emulated C64s'. As a successful computer programming tutor in college, John has found teaching the art of programming to be rewarding work. 'Start Here ...' is an extension of that work.
