John Millea (1970) was born just twelve miles outside of Liverpool and was raised on a steady diet of The Beatles by his parents. His dad saw the band perform many times at The Cavern Club in the early days, and his mum saw the band perform at the Hollywood Bowl in 1964. The first Beatles album he owned was Rubber Soul given to him by his Uncle Bill, and it remains his favorite to this day. He introduced the band to both of his children from birth, through their music and stories. He was moved to write this book, together with his brother Gary, to give his children a lasting gift of his love for The Beatles, and to introduce new generations around the world to the messages of peace, love, hope and understanding that The Beatles gave us.
