John A. Schettler

John Schettler has been writing and publishing professionally since 1980. John Schettler is a prolific writer who has penned 85 novels over the last 20 years. He specializes in historical military fiction with time travel (or alternate history). Among John’s expansive backlist of books, are his bestselling Kirov Naval Fiction Series that contains 64 linked books, one of the longest stories ever told, and the award winning “Meridian” series quintet. His latest release was the third book in his Keyholders Saga. John Schettler graduated from Loyola University with a degree in English (writing emphasis.) After graduation he served as a volunteer teacher for three years in Alaska where he taught native Eskimo students at St. Mary’s Mission near the Yukon River delta. John has also designed numerous historical military simulation games in both the board and computer gaming industry, including four featured games for the industry leading magazine Strategy & Tactics. His love of military history is evident in his novels, including the biotech / military Sci-fi thriller "Wild Zone" and its sequel "Mother Heart."
