Johnny Bohan is the founder and CEO of FinBits Media LLC, a personal financial media company. He is a personal finance humorist, a college professor, Dad of three twenty-somethings, husband, wealth advisor, speaker, podcaster, and financial blogger. As a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, his goal is to bring simplicity, education, and humor to the complex and confusing world of personal finance. Throughout his fifteen years as a financial advisor and entrepreneur, Johnny has always had a passion for educating his clients and their kids about how to make good financial decisions and, more importantly, how to avoid making financial blunders. Johnny was a student at the University of Kansas School of Business in the late 1980s, and his journey in personal finance led him to become an advocate for teaching personal finance to young adults to get them started off on the right path. He has been an Affiliate Professor in Personal Finance at Metro State University in Denver. He has taught at The Leeds School of Business at the University of Colorado and has been a featured speaker at colleges throughout the Rocky Mountain region and the Western US. He is the author of finbits, a biweekly financial education blog that attempts to educate the masses about money topics in a lighthearted tone.
