Jon Johnston

Jon Johnston was born in the small town of Curtis in Western Nebraska. After his high school graduation, he headed to the University of Nebraska – Lincoln, where he worked hard at "college", cramming a four-year degree - BA in Art (with minors in physics, math, and film studies) - into seven years. After that he moved to Minneapolis, where he became an IT Consultant and talked his way into reviewing software for a magazine. It set the stage for a 20-year side career of writing about the computer industry. Then blogging started and all the magazines Jon wrote for went out of business, so he moved on to sports writing. He currently runs the web site CornNation.com. It’s about the Nebraska Cornhuskers and the silliness of being a college football fan. Now he’s starting to write other things. Like a memoir. About being dead. That seems like a good start into the rest of his writing life, eh? He currently lives in Chaska, Minnesota, USA with his family.
