Jonathan Wills

关于作者

Jonathan Wills (born Oxford, 1947) is a writer and gardener. He was brought up in the English Midlands but from the age of 15 has lived mainly in Shetland, since 1985 in the island of Bressay. His motto is ‘Dig Where You Stand’ and most of his writing is based on his various experiences as a student activist, nature reserve warden, boatman to the Muckle Flugga lighthouse, crofter, local newspaper reporter and editor, broadcaster, Scottish correspondent for The Times, BBC producer, parliamentary candidate, environmental consultant, local councillor, marine wildlife guide and, most interesting of all, father of four and grandfather of twelve. He is still trying to work out what he should do when he grows up.
