Josh Fernandez

Josh Fernandez worked as a journalist for 11 years, writing arts and culture stories for publications like Spin Magazine, The Sacramento Bee, and several alternative news weeklies. He is currently an English professor at a small community college in Northern California and writes for The Hard Times, a punk rock satire site. When he is not writing and teaching, he stays busy with anti-racist activism, helping run the Sacramento Community Self-Defense Collective, and working with Clothing and Food For Everyone, an aid program for houseless people in Sacramento.
