Joyce Grace

Joyce Grace recently wrote the YA novel, Finding Me: Sisters Aiding Sisters. She was a public school special education teacher for over 30 years. She taught all grade levels: pre-school, elementary, middle and high school, and served as an advisor to a variety of high school clubs. Much of her experience dealt with students facing difficult challenges. She wrote grants to expand the curriculum to address their needs which included the development of life skills such as household budgeting, cooking, car maintenance and sex education. After retiring, she taught courses for NAMI (National Alliance for the Mentally Ill). While living in Bangkok she wrote travel articles for a now discontinued magazine and wrote children books for her grandchildren. She enjoys living in sunny Florida on the Atlantic Intracoastal Waterway as well as spending time with her grandchildren in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California.
