Juan J. Davila is an author, speaker, and advocate whose journey from advertising executive to thriving survivor reflects a profound transformation. With over 30 years of expertise in marketing, advertising technology, and digital content creation, Juan has held executive roles at Vice Media, Publicis Groupe, and Salma Hayek’s Ventanazul at MGM. He began his career promoting Pedro Almodóvar's films at Cinevista Films, where his passion for storytelling took root. His career took a meaningful turn following his second cancer diagnosis in 2019. As a joyful survivor, Juan co-chairs the Lymphoma Epidemiology of Outcomes (LEO) Cohort, advancing research on non-Hodgkin lymphoma outcomes, and contributes to patient advocacy at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center in Miami. Juan’s debut memoir chronicles his five-year journey through cancer, offering readers an authentic account of resilience and renewal. His creative pursuits include developing a miniseries inspired by actual events and spiritual teachings, which will expand his storytelling into new realms. A graduate of Columbia University, Juan also studied French and Spanish literature at Sorbonne IV and Salamanca University. Fluent in English and Spanish and conversational in French, he brings a global perspective to his work. When not writing or speaking, Juan enjoys exploring science, supporting his community, and spending time with his loyal companion, Pancho.
