Judith Baroody was an award-winning reporter and anchor for the ABC-TV affiliate in Norfolk before joining the U.S. Foreign Service. As a Public Diplomacy Officer, she served overseas in Damascus, Tel Aviv, Casablanca, Nicosia, Santiago, and Baghdad, with a final tour as Minister-Counselor for Public Affairs in Paris. In Washington, she was a Senior Fellow at the German Marshall Fund, Political Advisor at the Defense Logistics Agency, and Executive Director of the Association for Diplomatic Studies and Training. She taught at the National War College and the American University and is the author of Media Access and the Military, Casablanca Blue, and Paris Gold.
