Julie Cook is a journalist, author and broadcaster. She has been a journalist for national newspapers and magazines for over 20 years and regularly writes for the Daily Mail, Telegraph, the Sun and women's titles including Bella and Take a Break. She regularly appears as a commentator and panellist on GB News. She is the author of The Titanic and the City of Widows it Left Behind (Pen and Sword), A History of the Girl Guides, Girl Scouts, Brownies, Rainbows and WAGGGs (Pen and Sword), The Titanic Girls (Blkdog Publishing) and The Trauma of Captivity (2023 Pen and Sword.) Julie's great-grandfather died working on the Titanic and she has a huge interest in the social history surrounding the tragedy.
