Julie G Fox

关于作者

Julie G. Fox is an author and the founder of Clever Fox Press Charitable Publishing House. Julie's first book 'Goodbye, Emma' told the story of a boy refugee and his dog. This book (which is still Julie's bestseller!) was based on a true story as Julie and her younger brothers were refugees themselves. The proceeds from sales of 'Goodbye, Emma' (as well as all other Julie's books) are routinely donated to charities. The first hundred copies of 'Goodbye, Emma' were shipped to refugee camps in Greece, Canada and Germany and to the primary and elementary school around the world. After 'Goodbye, Emma' came out Julie felt that she had too many stories locked up in her head, and these stories had to somehow reach more children. She decided to connect with artists, illustrators and writers in the countries, troubled by wars and economic problems, to encourage those talented and creative individuals who lacked a platform to participate in the amazingly creative process of making children's books. “Anyone who writes down to children is simply wasting his time. You have to write up, not down”, said Elwyn Brooks White, the famous author of Charlotte's Web. Clever Fox Press' terrific international team has since produced more than 50 titles. And their motto is to write up to children. Thus, they do not break down their books by age. Their books are written for children of all ages including parents and grandparents. Clever Fox Press' team are great fans of folklore and fairytales as these hold the world of wisdom passed down from one generation to the next and should never be forgotten. So once upon a time, there was ... #thatladywithfoxears and her amazing team of artists and writers from all over the world who love to tell stories.
