Julie S. Miller

Julie S. Miller (aka "Juliet") is the content creator and illustrator behind SmartDev Press, the publishing company that she has founded together with her husband in July, 2022. She is into book creation because she wants to spark curiosity among young learners; curiosity, she says, is one of the most important traits a human being can possess. After enjoying an extensive career in English and Chinese language teaching (and after realizing that motherhood is her main passion), Julie shifted her focus toward creating qualitative artwork that supports children language development. She spends her days creating content and illustrating, drawing, reading literature, and exploring her favorite city on Earth - Charleston, South Carolina. She loves good music, walks in nature, being an active member of the community, and living alongside her family: a wonderful husband and their precious 5-year-old son.
