Julie Vellacott

Julie Vellacott lives in the lovely Scenic Rim in south east Queensland, Australia. She has been a long time admirer of Nöel Coward since listening to her oldest brother and friends sing his songs around the piano. She has written and published short stories, articles and contributed to various cookbooks and anthologies. She is a keen reader, traveller, writer and wildlife watcher. Also a hopeful photographer. Food, cooking and writing have been important in her life for both leisure and work. Julie has worked in several countries in the hospitality, entertainment, publishing and teaching fields. Julie is passionate about theatre and all the arts. She collects vintage cook books and has dipped into them to unearth recipes for this book. Julie retired recently from employment as a cultural officer and shares her home with Tiggomy – a very large, opinionated ginger cat.
