Justin Wyatt

Justin Wyatt is Chair of Communication Studies at the University of Rhode Island. He is the author of High Concept: Movies and Marketing in Hollywood and The Virgin Suicides: Reverie, Sorrow and Young Love and co-editor of Contemporary American Independent Film: From the Margins to the Mainstream. From 2000-2015, he worked professionally in the television industry leading media market research initiatives. He holds a PhD in Critical Studies of the Media from UCLA and a BA in Economics from the University of British Columbia.
