Justine is an author and educator. Justine was raised on the Caribbean island of Haiti where she experienced its rich culture firsthand. Justine enjoyed listening to multicultural stories from her family, including fascinating Haitian tales. Exposure to her family’s storytelling routines led Justine to begin writing her own stories at a very young age. Justine’s children’s books reflect her childhood memories and experiences while growing up in Haiti. Justine’s dedication to promoting Caribbean and Haitian language and culture, as well as her drive to expand on Haitian children’s literature have inspired her to write children’s books. During her free time, Justine enjoys writing, listening to music, going on nature walks, and spending time with her family.
