One of my favorite books as a child, and as an adult, was "The Giving Tree". As a Montessori teacher for five years, I’ve always loved working with kids, and this was a book I read often in my classroom. My favorite age group to work with is toddlers, they’re so full of life, excited about new things, and love hearing the adults in their lives read to them, especially their mommies and daddies. This book was created with children in mind. The illustrations are simple and not over-stimulating, with a clear focus on the characters, just like "The Giving Tree". The language is age-appropriate while introducing new vocabulary for expressing feelings. It encourages healthy ways to talk about feelings and shows how to help a friend in need. I had so much fun writing and illustrating this book, and I can’t wait to share the rest of my books with you.
