ABOUT THE AUTHOR KM Reid was born in Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Her father was a soldier in the Army. KM Reid decided to follow in her father’s footsteps and join the military as well. Her mother told her “You can do it” and she did. She served in the Air Force for 20 years. KM Reid began writing children’s books after she had her two wonderful children. She loved reading to them and showing them the delightful illustrations as they followed along. The idea of writing children’s books took off from there. KM Reid has published three children's books and written several other stories ready to publish as well. She owns Reid for Read Publishing LLC, a multicultural inclusion company recognizing that diversity is beautiful and that we are all in this together.
