Kakali Bhattacharya

Dr. Kakali Bhattacharya is an associate professor and program coordinator of Qualitative Research Graduate Certificate at the Kansas State University. Her writing is a combination of academic and creative writing. She is a strong advocate for creativity in scholarly research. To that end she has written plays, poems, painted pictures, and created videos, that have been published in top tier journals. Her writing is deeply introspective, focused on journeying, and understanding meaning making, especially for people who might find themselves on the margins. She works with ideas of expansive awareness, contemplative practices, building just communities, and decolonizing our minds, bodies, and spirits.
