Karen Lynne Hall

I am a screenwriter/producer, an author and a mom. This is my 44th year of making a living as a writer and I hope it lasts until someone throws dirt on my coffin. I have written for M*A*S*H, Hill Street Blues, Moonlighting, Northern Exposure, The Good Wife and many more shows. I married my high school sweetheart, Chris Walker, in 2000 -- twenty-five years after he should have married me. (He would not listen to reason at age 17.) Counting the "yours, mine and ours" kids, we have four altogether (Christine, Brian, Julianne and Caleb) with ages ranging from 23 to 37. I therefore have at my service an accountant, an attorney, a therapist, and a sports writer. With my latest book (The Sound of Silence: The Life and Canceling of a Heroic Jesuit) I discovered that I really like writing nonfiction, so I'm going to stick with that for awhile.
