With 28 years of high school classroom teaching experience, she has taught students of all levels, including Advanced Placement Language and Composition. Throughout her career, Karen has honed her skills in teaching critical thinking and analytical skills to her students, empowering them to analyze passages and understand the author's purpose. Her passion for education and dedication to helping her students achieve their goals made her a standout teacher. After retiring from teaching, Karen focused on sharing her knowledge and experience with other educators. Karen's educational background includes a Master of Education in Educational Management from the University of Houston Clear Lake and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology/Education, a Lifetime Teaching Certificate Grades 6-12 from McNeese State University. She has also worked as a Language Arts Content Specialist at Sterling High School in Baytown, Texas.
