Karen L Smith, MSS, LCSW has worked as an analytically-oriented psychotherapist for over 30 years. She founded and directs Full Living: A Psychotherapy Practice, specializing in meaningful matches between clients and seasoned clinicians. She did her graduate education at Bryn MawrGradudate School of Social Work and Social Research, advanced clinical education at the International Psychotherapy Institute (formally IIORT) and the Philadelphia Psychotherapy Study Center, and psychedelic education at SoundMind and Fluence. In collaboration with Dr Sophia Brandstetter LCSW, PsyD through Ketamine Kollaborations, she offers programming to help clinicians incorporate ketamine assisted psychotherapy in their outpatient practices. Much of this book was created as material for her clients when introducing them to this treatment, and then for clinicians as the onboard this tool into their practices.
