Karen is a mother of three, the grandmother of nine and has been married for over 40 years to Jim Moran, an attorney in Palm Beach County. As a married couple, Karen and her husband, Jim attended the University of Florida and she later transferred to Florida Atlantic University where she received a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Education. Karen later taught in Palm Beach County schools until she began raising her children. She pioneered after-school clubs in elementary schools for 20 years and in 2021 founded Save Our Schools America to bring awareness to her school board and her own state legislature. As an educator and community activist, she is a strong advocate for parental rights in education, desiring the best education possible for each child in a safe environment where children can love God and love their country.
