Karen is a twice-nominated Emmy Award-winning television and film editor. Born in Chicago to a proud military family, she spent her childhood traveling across the country’s military bases as one of five children. The family eventually settled in Los Angeles, where Karen discovered her passion for filmmaking. Early in her career, she worked as an editor on children's programming for clients like Disney, ABC, NBC, Nickelodeon, and Saban, which sparked her love for children's storytelling. In the later part of her career, Karen shifted to editing documentary projects, building a diverse and impressive portfolio. She has also been an advocate and researcher for her grandson with disabilities. Today, Karen resides on California’s Central Coast.
