Karen diCristofaro Mondragon

Karen is a licensed minister and teacher of spiritual practices. Her biggest joy in life is being a great grandmother to two awesome children, grandmother to seven and mom to two. Karen has had numorous dogs in the past, Becket, Lady, Buddy, Cupcake, Lola, and Sophie. They were all special and she loved them very much. But now she has one cat named Bella. Bella brings laughter into the house and some mischief as well. Karen loves writing stories for children and for adults too. She also loves traveling, she recently went to Bali and then to London. Karen loves learning how other people live and making lasting connections through travel. When at home, she loves going to plays and enjoys shopping with her great grandies. She enloys taking her great grandchildren on outings to the zoo, going on picnics in the park, sharing stories, and eating frozen yogurt. Her great granddaughter tries to teach her how to buy make up and how to use it correctly, which is not the easiest thing for great grandma to do. The holidays are important to Karen, especially Christmas. Her love of christmas and Christmas trees is why she wrote her book The Magic Christmas Trees. While in London she rescued a lonely English Elf from a toy shop and brought it home to meet his American cousins living at her granddaughter's house. The English Elf was so excited to meet his cousins but his American cousines didn't even know he was here to meet them. I am sure once they learned that they were just as excited to meet him. Maybe I will write a story about them.
