Kat Lapatovich Healy is a displaced Yankee living in the middle of the Midwest heartland. A biochemist-turned-author, she loves all things fantasy and science fiction, basically anything with some sassy wit, cool tech, and action-movie heroics. You’ll find that in her work, along with characters struggling to connect with not only others, but themselves as well. When she’s not glued to her computer, she daydreams about when she’ll be able to go snorkeling again, bakes way too many pastries, and tries to grow things in her garden.
