Hi quilting friends! I am so happy to share my book and my passion for quilting with you. I made my first quilt many years ago when I was a teenager for a cousin’s baby. Since then I have made a lot of quilts- for my kids, for family members and for friends. I have often said that quilting is my therapy! I started my own quilt pattern line in 2003 with Elizabeth Balderrama called Seams Like a Dream Quilt Designs. Since then I have designed for a bunch of quilt magazines including Quiltmaker magazine, McCall’s Quilting and McCall’s Quick Quilts magazines, American Patchwork and Quilting, Quilts and More, Modern Patchwork as well as designing quilts for various fabric companies. I have an online class on Craftsy that is great for beginners called 3 Blocks, 30 Quilts. And a class on Craft U as well! I love to do lectures and trunk shows for guilds and teach quilt classes. To me quilting is all about community and I love meeting other quilters and talking about quilts. When I am not quilting, designing or teaching, I can be found hiking in Colorado with hubby or snuggling on the couch with my kitty Lily, watching silly tv shows and knitting!
