Kathryn Harrison is the author of five books on topics as wide-ranging as costume design for kids, foster care and adoption, and preparing your family for an emergency. She has also written hundreds of guest blog posts, magazine articles, trainings, and workshops. Her second book, Another Place At The Table; A Story Of Shattered Childhoods Redeemed By Love, helped earn her a People Magazine Heroes Among Us Award, The Ellen Sedlis Award for Child Advocacy, The Massachusetts Foster Parent of the Year Award, and The Goldie Rogers Award. Ms. Harrison has appeared on the Today Show, The Oprah Winfrey Show, and she has been profiled in People Magazine. Her newest book, Wild Goose Chase Murders is the first in her Lawson's Landing Mystery Series. A devoted grandmother, Kathryn and her husband, Bruce, recently sold the family farm to retire closer to their grandchildren in Easthampton, Massachusetts, a picturesque small city that inspires the setting of Lawson's Landing.
