Kathy Trusty

Kathy Trusty is a passionate author who enlightens young minds through engaging and informative nonfiction books. Specializing in Black history, Kathy brings the rich and diverse stories of African American heritage to life for children, fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation of the past. In addition to her acclaimed Black History books, Kathy has also penned a general workbook to reinforce spelling and enhance children's vocabulary and writing skills. With a background in historical research and Black history presentations, she combines her expertise and love for history to create resources that inspire curiosity and a lifelong love of learning. When she's not writing, Kathy enjoys visiting Black history museums and historical sites, and collecting Black history artifacts.
