Hello!! Thank you so much for reading this! For as long as I can remember, I've dreamed about writing a Science Fiction novel. Throughout my life, I've had a lot of different jobs. My first paying job was as a worm picker at a worm farm (No fooling! You can look it up, they exist!) I've been a busboy, a waiter, general manager, and a restaurant owner. A library manager and an X-ray Tech, but through it all, I still thought about being a writer. In 2009, I was in a very serious accident and broke my back and neck. The doctor told me that I should have been paralyzed or killed. I decided I needed to DO and not just dream. I have always been intrigued by the Loch Ness Monster and how the same creature could be seen for hundreds of years. I am also a huge Sci-Fi fan (Doctor Who, Star Trek, Star Wars, Red Dwarf, etc.), so when I finally determined to write my book, I wanted to combine my favorite elements. I spent a lot of time researching the dates and timelines for my story, also the locations. Most of what I mention in my story is factual, battles, towns, events, ships, locations, etc. Some of my characters are named after friends and family as thank you's for putting up with me all of these years. So, what does a sixteenth-century Scotsman, two opposing alien races, three countries, and four centuries have in common with the Loch Ness Monster? Read The Tacharan and find out!!! Thank you! Slainte Mhath, Keith D. Graham Ne oublie na rudan math! (Never forget the good things!) BIO PART 2: I've been asked why I switched gears and wrote a zombie apocalypse novel, so I decided to answer that question here! I have always loved the zombie story world, but the one thing I didn't like were the origin stories. I knew if I ever came up with a better explanation, I would have to write a book. STORM is (in my opinion) the best cause of the outbreak. The combination of nature and man-made elements to create the virus is very plausible and they are all already here. The right mix and we could see a real catastrophe. Maybe not zombies, but it would definitely be a bad day! I hope you enjoy reading STORM as much as I enjoyed writing it.
