Keith A. Johnson

I am a teacher and researcher at the University of California, Berkeley. I grew up in Norman, Oklahoma, went to college in Abilene, Texas, and got a PhD from Ohio State University. I had post-doctoral fellowships at Indiana University and UCLA, and had a research job in the Department of Biocommunication at the University of Alabama, Birmingham before joining the faculty at Ohio State. In 2005 I moved to Berkeley. My books are mainly textbooks for Linguistics courses, but I've also edited two books of research articles on timely topics in Linguistics.
