Kellie Austin

Kellie Austin once dreamed of writing the great American novel. It was however by pouring through the endless aisles of second-hand bookstores as a teenager that she found her true calling as a writer by settling into the "New Pulp" style of storytelling, supernatural/horror, action-adventure stories for an engaging new audience, never looking back on that decision. Kellie Lynn Austin was born in Detroit in the year 1969, having moved to Ashland Kentucky where she still lives today. Kellie has a deep affection and appreciation of the written word including but not limited to reading as well as writing stories reminiscent of old dime store paperback books featuring science fiction, old Pulp, horror, and the supernatural. Kellie is fifty-four years old and has studied Film and Television, Psychology, Ancient Myth, Cryptozoology, Criminology, and world religions with degrees in Criminal Justice and Marketing. Kellie enjoys Archaeology and the Paranormal, including television and film, comic books, collectibles, and antiques, all which inspire her ongoing and completed written works. Kellie Austin has one previous writing credit: "Pulp Reality" issues 1 and 2 featuring the short story "Ace Anderson and the Curse of Doctor Atomika" from Charles f.
