A born-again follower of Jesus Christ since age nineteen, Kelly Whitehead is privileged to experience the daily transforming power of God’s Word. As a public, private, and homeschool teacher; on local and global mission fields; as a Bible teacher at her church, women’s shelters, and a minimal security transition facility; in Biblical counseling; and in doing life with family and friends, the Bible has been her firm foundation. Her debut novel, “Darkness Trembles: A Battle for One Lost Soul,” is the culmination of the undeniable truth that God’s Word “is living and active…” and able to discern “the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12).” Kelly lives in Marietta, Georgia with her husband of thirty-three years. They have raised three (almost-perfect) sons, two Havanese pups, and are completely in love with their (almost-perfect) daughter-in-law who was brave (read crazy) enough to marry into their family.
