Kelly Kerlin

关于作者

Hi, I’m Kelly Kerlin—a homesteader at heart, a soil enthusiast by trade, and someone who probably spends way too much time talking to chickens. I grew up surrounded by gardens, compost piles, and the occasional runaway hen, so you could say sustainability is in my DNA. Whether I’m figuring out how to coax more tomatoes from a small urban plot or testing my latest Bokashi experiment, I’m always on a mission to live a little closer to the earth (and convince others to join me). I’m obsessed with all things compost—Bokashi, JADAM, you name it. If it involves turning scraps into gold for the garden, I’m all in. My books are all about making sustainable living approachable, whether you’re raising your first flock of backyard chickens, creating a permaculture paradise, or just trying to figure out what to do with all those zucchini. When I’m not writing or knee-deep in compost, you’ll find me chasing after hens, wrangling weeds, or passionately debating whether worms or microbes are the true MVPs of the garden. My goal? To help you build a thriving, sustainable space of your own—with a little laughter along the way.
