Kelly Sopp

Kelly Sopp is an American author whose writing brings heartfelt wisdom and humor to everyday life. Her books include the perennial best-seller Safe Baby Handling Tips (Running Press), The Nine: a pregnancy countdown journal (Potter Style), The New Parents’ Fun Book (Running Press), and her latest book, Hey, I Love You…(Running Press) available for preorder now, ships October 5. Her newest book, Hey, I Love You… is for anyone who’s newly engaged, already married, or just married curious. Kelly offers both simple marriage wisdom and a fun way for couples to express everything that needs to be said, unsaid, or isn’t said often enough. Kelly is also the co-founder of Wrybaby, a baby clothing and gift company that she and her husband, David Sopp, launched in 2000 after the birth of their son, Atticus. Her work on apparel, books and gift products over the years has been seen in Time Magazine, People Magazine, BuzzFeed, Parents Magazine, Newsweek and more. Kelly lives in the Piedmont of North Carolina, by way of Northern California, by way of Oregon. She has a degree in journalism from the University of Oregon, and was an advertising copywriter in San Francisco for many years before choosing to step into her own voice.
