My name is Kelly Wain and I am the owner of Benevolent Mission. Myself and my co-author, John Wilson, have written and illustrated a heartwarming children's book titled, "A Great Day For Pond Play". Our story is built on friendship, faith, love and our desire to help others see God's beauty through our eyes. Our most favorite time spent together is seeking out and traveling to the country's most beautiful gems to photograph wildlife and nature and we absolutely love what we do! With over 25 years of professional photography experience, we've taken thousands of images over the years, which we've converted to gorgeous illustrations showcased in our books! Having the ability to capture wildlife during some of their most intimate and beautiful moments, is a craft only mastered by a few. We've learned that nature is both amazing and unpredictable. It requires respect, patience and understanding. These characteristics are abundant in both our work in and out of nature's landscape. During our adventures, we've developed a deep appreciation for God's creations and each other. Our rich conversations have become reflections of moments that have made our jaws drop or brought tears to our eyes. We know that many people do not have the same opportunities to experience the world the way we have, so we've decided to bring the world to them! Wildlife and nature can teach us a lot. Despite taking non-human forms, there are so many valuable lessons and takeaways. From our experiences, adventures and appreciation, we've developed kind and beautiful concepts for caregivers to share with little ones, the way we did with our children when they were young. The Benevolent Mission is making a big impact on society and families alike. Our goal is to share simple tips, stories and reminders that help generate peace and kindness within families and the community! Our work encourages the appreciation of nature, the education of kindness to oneself and others and the enrichment of family values and the collaboration of like-minded people helping the less fortunate in our communities.
