Kelsey Reynolds founded BadgerBooks, a groundbreaking venture that combines her passion for writing, illustrating, and publishing children's picture books with the power of digital watercolor and AI technology. Her remarkable journey began during a challenging time in her life when she battled severe postpartum depression. Previously, Kelsey had built a successful career as a registered nurse, dedicating herself to the care and well-being of others. However, her postpartum depression made it difficult for her to return to work. Seeking solace and a creative outlet, she turned to her love for storytelling and art. In the midst of her struggle, Kelsey discovered the therapeutic effects of writing and illustrating children's books. Combining her newfound passion with her expertise in digital art and technology, she began to experiment with digital watercolor and AI to bring her stories to life. The process not only provided her with a much-needed distraction but also became a source of healing and personal growth. Driven by her own experiences as a mother and the desire to share meaningful stories with her own daughter, Kelsey embarked on a mission to create children's books that would inspire and captivate young minds. With the aid of AI technology, she could enhance her illustrations, bringing a unique and magical quality to her artwork. Kelsey Reynolds is from Provo, Utah. She has a dual Bachelor of Science degree in Public Health from Brigham Young University and Nursing from Roseman University. She enjoys the outdoors, soccer, traveling, and animals. Her inspiration for writing came from being the mother of a little girl who adores beautiful books.
