Kelvin L. Reed, the author of seven novels, grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. He attended college in his home state, eventually earning a Ph.D. in counseling psychology from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Kelvin spent virtually his entire adult life working in the field of education before leaving to write full time. He and his wife reside in Las Vegas, Nevada.
