Born in Long Beach, raised in the deserts of California, Ken Judeh grew to love writing at an early age. Influenced heavily at a young age by the slow pace of the desert sun, the easy chirping of hidden insects, and the rhythm of the wind at night, he grew first to see poetry in nature. A distant relation to Walt Whitman, the bard himself occupied the literature around his family. As he grew, science fiction had a huge impact on him. Giants such as Orwell, Huxley, Vonnegut, and Adams enthralled him, but he never forgot the quiet peace of the Romantics. His early style bore witness to this union with a bizarre mixture of a grounded science fiction blended with peaceful moments. His first novel, The Library of Jonah Stockholm, reflects this blend. His most recent writing takes a critical approach to power and it's corrupting influences. Blended with Machiavellian philosophy and modern headlines, the influences in his life - personal, poetic, mythological, musical, and literary - have at last come together.
