Kendyl Arden is an author, artist, and art therapist based in Chicago, IL. She is the owner of the fine art studio, Muze, in the heart of Chicago, where she teaches pottery, sculpting, and painting classes, and hosts art therapy groups. Kendyl first found her passion for writing in early college, where she began using creative prose and poetry to help her process different experiences. This was the beginning of her journey into being an author, where she saw how expressing herself through writing and art could be therapeutic and a way to help others. This is the inspiration behind much of her work, how creativity can be used to heal, process, and find meaning. Most of her work explores art making as a therapeutic resource, and encourages others to develop their own art practice. This is the connecting thread in the content of her books.
