Author Kerby Rials combines humor with solid research in crafting his books, one of which has been translated into six languages. A magna-cum-laude journalism graduate of Michigan State, Kerby specializes in keeping the reader engaged. Kerby and his family lived for 25 years in Russia, Belgium and Switzerland as church-planting missionaries with the Assemblies of God. He speaks fluent Russian and French. His life experiences and humor are found especially in his latest book, “Killer God,” and in his missions autobiography, “Life by Faith.” His first book, “The Three Great Churches” has been translated into six languages and is currently being translated into a seventh (Spanish). Another book, “Once Saved, Always Saved: True or Not?” will soon be published by Abundance Books. Upcoming titles include war history, “Hitler’s Christmas Present” and an apocalyptic page-turner. Kerby lives in Lansing MI with his wife Sheila. He travels frequently to Ukraine, Belgium and Central America. Besides pastoring churches in Russia and Belgium, he has pastored two churches in the United States. He has taught at Bible schools in Russia, Ukraine and the nation of Georgia. He is also a graduate Mount Hope Bible Training Institute, studied at Continental Theological Seminary (Belgium) and is ordained with the Assemblies of God.
