Ketaki Kulkarni

Hi, I'm Ketaki – a writer, illustrator, and creator based in Mumbai, India. After 10 years of competing in chess and 5 years of working as a VFX artist, I discovered my passion for storytelling through art. I also spent 7 wonderful years running a craft store, which fueled my love for design. Now, as the founder of A Simple Studio, where we focus on VFX, animation, and design, I’ve blended my creative experiences into a new journey – crafting children's books. Writing and drawing have been my passions since childhood, and after completing a design course, I began illustrating books for kids. I’m 8 books in, and it feels like just the beginning! My goal is to keep exploring this field and share more stories that spark imagination and joy.
