Kevin Gruzewski, CTRS has practiced recreation therapy for almost 20 years. Nine of those years were spent helping at-risk youth in a mental health/substance abuse facility. During that time, he witnessed firsthand how recreation has the power to help, heal, and restore a person. Working with teens can be challenging, but, ultimately, very rewarding. He created Therapy Games for Teens to give recreation professionals--or anyone seeking to help teens--practical activities to start the important conversations to help teens in today’s world. Kevin also created The Real Recreation Therapist Blog (www.kevingctrs.com) as a way to share his experience and create a community with others in the profession. He is also a freelance writer and copywriter providing content services for a variety of health-related businesses and other industries. In his free time, Kevin loves reading, writing, making music, and exploring nature. Most of his free time, however, is spent chasing around two energetic boys with an aging, stubborn beagle in tow. Therapy Games for Teens is Kevin’s first book.
