Kevin Hart

I teach in the Divinity School and the Department of English at Duke University in Durham, NC. My recent scholarly books include *Maurice Blanchot on Poetry and Narrative: Ethics of the Image* (Bloomsbury, 2023) and *Lands of Likeness: For a Poetics of Contemplation* (Chicago UP, 2023). Books to come this year include *Dark-Land: Memoir of a Secret Childhood* (Paul Dry Books, 2024), *Contemplation* (Columbia UP, 2024) and *The Bible and Western Christian Literature* (T. and T. Clark, 2024). I also write poems: recent collections include *Wild Track: New and Selected Poems* (Notre Dame UP, 2015) and *Barefoot* (Notre Dame UP, 2018). I'm currently writing *Phenomenology of the Christ* and completing three new collections of poems.
