Meet the whimsical mind behind "Conversations with a Witch," a delightful blend of magic and science where the enchantment of the universe meets the rigor of discovery. Key is a practicing witch, a working professional, and a passionate advocate for exploring the weird. Never one to be put in one particular box, she grew up reading high fantasy, sewing crazy outfits, racing cars, dancing ballet, programming robots and computers, playing video games, and running around the woods building forts. Later in life she earned a bachelor's degree in computer science and medicinal botany, followed by obtaining a graduate degree in clinical informatics. After this, Key began to search for something new to explore which ultimately led her to study the occult. She greatly enjoyed uncovering patterns between scientific theory and long-standing magical practices, finding great value in understanding both.
