I’m Khemistri J., a best selling urban fiction author, publisher, wife, and mother of two. My journey as an author began in 2023 with the release of my debut novel, The Connect Kidnapped My Heart. Since then, I’ve been carving out my place in the literary world, creating unforgettable Black romance stories with my own urban twist on them. My goal with every story that I write is to transform flawed black characters and their relationships into beautifully crafted black love stories that celebrate healing, passion, love, resilience, and growth, ultimately leading them to their perfectly imperfect happily ever afters. When I’m not penning my next story, you'll find me binge-watching my favorite movies (most likely a rom-com), playing games on my phone, spending time with my family, or trying out new recipes I found on social media.
