As the founder of Comprehensive Urology, Dr. Michel has solidified his reputation in Los Angeles as a leading prostate cancer expert that specializes in prostate cancer treatment, BPH treatment, robotic surgery, focal therapy for prostate cancer such as HIFU and TULSA, erectile dysfunction treatment, Shockwave Therapy for ED, Botox penile injections, Peyronie’s disease treatment, and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT). Dr. Michel attended Whitman College in Washington, as a Presidential Scholar. After his undergraduate studies, Dr. Michel completed medical school at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, where he graduated with honors. He went on to the prestigious University of California, Los Angeles, Department of Urology, where he underwent his residency training. During this time, Dr. Michel was recognized as a National Pfizer Scholar. Following residency training, Dr. Michel continued to develop his professional skills by completing additional training in urologic cancer surgery as well as becoming a principal investigator on various clinical trials. For his contributions to medicine, Dr. Michel has been recognized by the National Cancer Institute, the National Institute of Health, and the American Urological Association. Kia Michel MD is also the developer of the STUD Protocol which addresses each aspect of male sexual health to ensure maximum sexual performance. He currently runs observational studies on the latest male enhancement therapies at Comprehensive Urology in Los Angeles.
