Kids Tales Student Writers

关于作者

Kids Tales (KidsTales.org) brings creative writing workshops to kids around the globe who do not have access to writing experiences outside of school. During a Kids Tales workshop, kids spend one week brainstorming, writing, and editing their own short story. At the end of the week, the stories are assembled in a collection and published as an anthology, a real book. All of Kids Tales’ instructors are teenagers. Kids Tales gives kids from underserved communities the opportunity to tell their story, become a published author, and have a voice. Teens that love to write and are passionate about sharing writing with younger kids teach Kids Tales. One child at a time, one teacher at a time, one story at a time, Kids Tales is inspiring kids and teens to find their voice and change the world. Kids Tales has been recognized by the International Literacy Association’s global 30 under 30 list, Ashoka Youth Venture, AFS-USA, Youth Service America, the National Prudential Spirit of Community Award, the National Writing Project, and Three Dot Dash.
