For a number of years, he blogged on science and environment matters for Discovery Channel News. He has also written and broadcast on sports for Reuters, ESPN.com, HBO Sports and Showtime Sports. He was born in Weston-super-Mare, in England, and has lived in Amsterdam, The Netherlands; Washington, D.C.; Anchorage, Alaska; Alexandria, Virginia; and Bristol, Vermont, where he now resides.
