Kim Roman is an Air Force "brat," veteran, military spouse, home school mother, world traveler and now an Oma to three grandchildren. Her passion is teaching small-space, high-intensive vegetable/herb gardening methods. As a Square Foot Gardening Certified Instructor (taught by Mel Bartholomew, the inventor of Square Foot Gardening) she supports the mission of the SFG Foundation which is to end world hunger. She also teaches veggie gardening at her local community college, and speaks live and online. After volunteering for two non-profit organizations that needed her indoor gardening expertise, she saw a great need when the pandemic hit to help people with food security even if they didn't have a yard.
